You had me at Taupe
It's taupe!...end of review. Usually that's all anyone needs to know, taupe + you = yayz0rz However, I will take this a little further, This right here is the number one reason I packed up two toddlers and a crabby yet supportive husband and drove 1 hour to my local ULTA. My insanity is not being questioned. But when I saw this I had to get my hands on it.

So far from Essence I've limited my purchases to lip products. I find the budget brands are usually more forgiving with lipsticks then shadows. After being amazed at the lip offerings from Essence I thought it was time to give the shadows a whirl. This is a perfect "look" palette. This Quattro offers a perfect balance of neutral/cool shades.

A shade for everyone
From top to bottom: top shade is a dark charcoal brown with fine multi color shimmer the second from top is a gorgeous midtoned taupe, leaning cool with the same multicolor shimmer, the second from the bottom is a very soft tan..same shimmer as the other, the bottom shade is a satiny ivory with a hint of multi color shimmer. All of these shadows were buttery to the touch, nicely opaque and blended easily. The only issue I have is the ease with which you can over blend these, the shadows are very soft, so just use a light hand. You may have to brush away some fallout, but nothing terrible.

Easy daytime look
Here is a super quick smokey eye I did using all the colors in this quad. You can lighten or dark this for a variety of looks. This will likely be my go to travel palette for the foreseeable future.
Nice reason to find these at your ULTA, if they have an end cap display like mine, you can swatch almost everything. Their shadows are pretty damn nice, and it's nice to get to play before you buy.
Where to buy: ULTA or Fred Meyers
Price: $2.99
