Color Trends You Can't Escape, Beauty From The Earth : The Oranges

Orange....you are so misunderstood.  Vibrant, warm, versatile.  You do not get the love you deserve.  I was very excited when Pantone announced their color of the year for 2012 would be Tangerine Tango.  You won't be able to avoid the color in fashion and beauty, so what a great chance to embrace it...

Ok, so part two of my Beauty From The Earth swatches will indeed be my oranges.  If you want to full obsessive run down on how awesome these shadows are and how much I adore this company, see my review of the yellows here.  No difference with these, pigmentation is fantastic, blending a dream  A+ all around.   I want to apologize for the goose bumpy arm.  I had a patch of awesome swatching light so I ran out side in my pajamas during a windstorm.  I won't lie, kinda awkward when I see the neighbors now.  Anyhooo, here they are

All of these shadows were applied dry over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy.  They are very pigmented and you need very little to produce intense colors like these.

 9-5 is a matte/slightly satin muted terracotta

Orangery is a matte red orange

Jax is a medium shimmery pumpkin orange

Wacky is a shimmery tomato bisque color

Tangerine is a bright, light shimmery golden orange

Final Thoughts

The quality of these shadows is exceptional, their color selection can drive one to madness.  If you are looking for an entry level orange, try Jax or Tangerine.  They are similar enough to golds that you can substitute tan orange and start to get your feet wet. Beauty From The Earth has a great sample program, so $2 give your 10-20 applications.  Plenty to experiment with for a teeny price tag or go crazy and scoop up a full size jar for $6.00.  They have a 30 day money back  guarantee so there is little to no risk.

Where to buy:  Beauty From The Earth
Price: $2 for .5 grams in a jar or $6.50 for 1-3 grams in a jar with sifter

Check out their Color of the Week offering.  Fans vote on a few given choices and on Monday the winner is the color of the week.  You can get a full sized jar of the COTW plus 3 samples of your choosing.  All for $6.00  This is a great way to build your collection or fill in gaps.
