BFTE Drags Me Kicking and Screaming to Pinks.

This is a very rare post for me.  It's pink.  I am not a pink girl.  I love the idea of pink, but in reality it is probably the top color for making me uncomfortable.  Clothing, cosmetics, you name it.  However, since I've discovered BFTE I've found myself more willing to step outside my comfort zone and try things I normally wouldn't even consider.  Some things still creep into the back of the drawer, but others I've learned to use and love.

This batch of shadows includes one of my new all time favs....yes and it is pink.   *Obligatory BFTE is awesome statement*  All of these shadows are highly pigmented, apply like a dream and trust me, a little goes a long way.

Vamp is a bright rich red with a generous sprinkling of gold sparkle.  This is similar to Isis only brighter and with sparkles

Red Hot

Red Hot is a cayenne red with a slight raspberry cast and gold/pink sparkles.  This one is so much more complex and pretty in person.

Victoria is a dusty muted peachy mauve with multi colored sparkles.  This is my new fav!  If you shy away from pink or fear they make you look all hungover.. get this!  I am surprised I don't see more people using this color.  It is flattering, delicate it's a singularly beautiful color.  Buy this!!!!!

Hope Lives

Hope Lives is part bubblegum, part Pepto Bismol and all sorts of pretty.  It's not quite matte, carrying just a touch of a satin finish.  It is another flattering pink for the timid.

Final Thoughts
Another stellar round up from BFTE.  I hope you all head over and check out their amazing shadows.  Step outside your comfort zone and try something different.  You may just be surprised.

Price:  Samples $2.00 Full Size $6.50

  1. Usually I go for neutral eyeshadows, with colors like Victoria being as colorful as I go, but Vamp and Red Hot looks gorgeous! Red Hot is especially interesting, it looks so dimensional. I'm a new follower :)

  2. These are all very pretty! Looooove Vamp and Victoria. I agree that I don't understand why some pink shades (like Victoria) aren't more popular; they can be very brightening and flattering, as long as you find one that works for your skin tone and wear a liner with it so it doesn't look like you have pink eye! Or maybe it's only me that has to do that... ;)

  3. See this is where your MAC and the like are at a disadvantage. You get maybe 5-6 pinks in the regular line? That's just not enough for all the skin tones and comfort levels. BFTE has 40+ pinks. The selection is phenomenal.
