While I had a few minutes, I thought I would do another quickie BFTE swatch post. I will do this every few days or so until my back log of BFTE shadows is thinned out. Straight up...it's gonna take a while. I loves me some BFTE. So now you all get to as well!
Being a brown eyed girl, you would think I would be rolling in purple shadows, but alas, I am not. I've had little luck finding the right shade of purple. They are either too red and therefore make me look like a world weary addict or they are too blue which is a color I just don't care for.
BFTE to save the day! I've been really lucky with BFTE purples. I've tried 4 or 5 at this point and each one has been a keeper. Take a look.
Big Ego
Big Ego is a shimmerying rich royal purple with sparkle. Big Ego has a perfect balance of red/blue undertones. This makes a phenomenal smokey eye.
Romp
Romp is a shimmering midtoned violet with pinkish undertones and sparkles. I don't have the words to describe how pretty this color is. This is a complex purple that plays well with others. I've paired this with golds (gorgeous!) browns and greens it works with them all.
Wysteria
Wysteria is a shimmering icy lilac color. This looks lovely as an all over lid color or as an accent/highlight color. This was one of the first BFTE I snapped up in full size after trying the sample.
Final Thoughts
If you are a tried and true fan of purples or maybe looking to break into the color, any of the above are wonderful choices. BFTE has over 50 purple shadows so you are going to find something to suit your needs.
