Can I Get a Hell Yeah For Hard Candy Take It Off Remover

This review almost didn't happen. I bought Hard Candy Take It Off as an afterthought. I photographed it to get back some counter space. I was swatching some teal gel liner and it was not coming off. I was sitting there thinking, well shit, guess I cant swatch anymore today and trust me, I was on a roll. I have a few removers and honestly, they all kinda suck. I remembered Hard Candy Take It Off and figured, what the hell....

And this is how a product review goes from the bottom of your list directly to the top. Up front I want to tell you this remover blew my mind. I squeezed a tiny blob onto my finger, rubbed it on the stain...gone. I felt like freaking Billy Mays.

The remover is a cream, non greasy, but pleasingly moisturizing.  You do not have to rinse it off after you use it.  I just wiped the area clean with a cotton ball and it left my skin feeling soft, not greasy.  I tested this out on a few products.  Here are some before and afters.

Left over wet application glitter shadow swatch.  After soap and water.

After using Take It Off

Lip Stain applied, dried and wiped off

After using Take It Off

Two Coats of Hard Candy 1000 Lashes Fiberized Mascara

After using Take It Off, gentle removal.

Final Thoughts

This is my new makeup remover and I am very excited to have found it.  I will need to play around with a few more products, namely some of my more stubborn mascaras, but this stuff handled everything I threw at it.  I love the cream medium.  It's gentle and breaks down the makeup without drying out your skin or giving you that "I just cleaned my face with rubbing alcohol" feeling.  Having a good remover is just as important as having good makeup.  Go check this stuff out!

Where to buy:  Walmart
Price: $6.00

  2. Wow, this looks awesome! I seriously need to pick up some makeup remover (my old remover's cap got yucky from sitting in the shower for too long)... Scrubbing at my face with soap and a towel isn't cutting it! I will have to try to pick this up the next time I'm near a Walmart!

  3. I am loving it! I was wearing a smokey eye yesterday and used this, one dab on a cotton ball, two gentle passes, gone. Only a tiny bit of mascara near the roots. I usually wake up with raccoon eyes in the am because of residual makeup....nope. Totally fine this AM. Seriously buy this stuff.
