E.L.F Tempts with Teal Tease Studio Cream Liner

I've been bummed out ever since my local source for E.L.F cleared out most of what they carry to make room for a NYX display.  I am not too broken up since it is pretty awesome to have access to NYX out in the boonies where I live.  But, it does mean I have to hunt harder for E.L.F

And hunt I did, ultimately scoring E.L.F Studio Cream Liner in Teal Tease.  E.L.F Cream liners are one of those products I think I have, but am never really sure. Regardless, this color screamed "Buy Me"

Teal Tease is a gorgeous metallic cyan/teal liner.  It leans slightly greener than it photographed.  The consistency is very similar to a MAC Fluidline.  Some budget brand gel/cream liners tend be waxy and tough to deal with, but this was easy to apply and you have a little time to smooth it out before it sets.

Teal Tease was very smudge and water resistant once it dries, but I was able to remove it easily with makeup remover.

Final Thoughts

I will definitely pick up more of these.  At $3.00 a pop, I may just snag all of them (currently they offer 11 colors)  It does everything I want a gel liner to do and it does it for a fraction of the price of similar quality liners.  The included brush is a bit too stiff and synthetic for my liking, but it works well with the product and does a nice job if you have nothing else to use.

Have you tried any of the E.L.F Studio Cream Liners?

Where to buy:  Target
Price:  $3.00

  2. Hi Crystal, I've heard so many good things about the ELF cream liners. The low price points allows me to be more adventurous and grab a few colors! I found your blog through the bbloggers blog hop.

  3. Unfortunately, for those of us stuck buying their products on the Internet, ELF online has the WORST customer service around. I've sent them at least 4 emails in the past 5 months or so, none of which they've bothered to answer. As a result, I've stopped buying their products, even though they do have some decent ones. Won't even buy their stuff at Target when I'm in the US.

  6. Such a beautiful shade! I recently purchased a great number of their cream liners. Thus far I'm loving them. At $3 ea. I might just have to scoop up the entire collection. -Oh and sorry but I'm kinda jealous about the NYX display ousting your elf display. I've yet to find NYX here. :( Oh well, the hunt continues.

@Sandra JT: Sorry to hear that. I too had issues with elf internet orders. But in my case they ended up refunding and/or replacing the damaged and missing items.
