Eco Tools 6 Piece Day to Night Set Review

I love buying Eco Tools sets! And when I saw this super cute set while wandering through a local store, I didn't hesitate to buy it. One of the items I've been searching for is a nice soft blush brush.  I've been using an old scratchy MAC 129 mini from an old holiday collection for years.  My poor little cheeks were so unhappy.

The Eco Tool 6 Piece Day to Night set  includes the following brushes:

  • Pointed Concealer Brush
  • Round Powder Brush
  • Detailed Lip Liner Brush
  • Stay There Shadow Brush
  • Smudge Brush
All of these brushes come in a sturdy zippered clutch with snug fitting elastic loops for each brush.

The brushes are made of eco friendly bamboo handles, recycled aluminum ferrules and super soft synthetic taklon bristles.  Eco Tools are the softest brushes I've ever used.  Every brush is a knockout. The blush brush, which is the reason I grabbed this in the first place, is phenomenal. Even though it is super soft, it will lay down bold color if you desire it or it can blend and soften.

The eye brushes are likewise great.  Honestly I know one is a lip liner and one is a concealer brush, but I use them for my eyes exclusively.  The shadow brush is good at packing on lid color,  the smudge brush is a great "outer v" brush  and the concealer brush is great for smoking out eyeliner.  I think it's a shame to gunk up such nice brushes with waxy lip color so that lip liner brush will also  be used for fine detail work around the eye.

The case for the brushes zips into a slim, compact unit.  It is just roomy enough not to squish the brush heads, but small enough to fit in your purse or carry on.  It's a perfect travel set and you can easily do your entire face with the contents of this set.

Final Thoughts

There is a reason people adore Eco Tools brushes.  Environmentally sustainable, cruelty free, amazingly soft and great performance.  I was surprised just how extensive their brush range is.  Even specialty (to me almost novelty) brushes like chunky body sculpting brushes...they have them.  You get all this for a very pocket friendly price. I think the most expensive single brush is around $13 and you can buy a variety for 5-6 brush kits for around the same price.  I've used Eco Tools for years and I've never had one shed, never had a ferrule loosen.  It's a worry free purchase.

Do you have a favorite Eco Tools brush?

Where to buy: Check your local Target, variety store or buy directly from Eco Tools
Price: $16.99 ( I found mine for $13.99 so prices can vary)
