We just had a Sweet Libertine post, but I wanted to get this up quickly because one of the shadows on here that I love was just added to the Sweet Libertine Going, Going, Gone list. So without further delay, here is a quartet of gorgeous shadows that are in heavy rotation this week.
Sweet Libertine is an indie brand with a loyal following. Their products are a fun combination of quality, high pigment shadows with quirky and sometimes even naughty names. Some of their shadows, like my previously reviewed Thai Silk, are beauty legend!
Schrodingers Cat $6.00
Beaded Curtain $6.00
Careful, Icarus (To be discontinued) $6.00
Little Miss Strange $6.00
First off, Careful, Icarus is a really beautiful light taupe, for those of us who crave taupes. It is being discontinued so at some point in the near future this color will be gone. It was my favorite of the bunch too. If you were a fan of MAC Style Snob, this is a fair dupe. Little Miss Strange is another hit. In the bag it looks like a gunmetal gray. I loved the depth and nuance of the color, not quite gray, not quite brown, not quite taupe and with sparkle? Oh yeah! Beaded Curtain, another hit. I don't like strong coppers that are too metallic. This shadow captures the warmth of copper without being too intense. Schrodinger' Cat, is a wonderful highlight color, and I just like the name too.
If you have any other Sweet Libertine shadows, check out their Going, Going, Gone page. They are discontinuing some colors (even a few popular ones) to streamline inventory. Make sure your favorite is not on that list!
